Attack by Stratagem
The Art of War is an ancient treatise that has not only been influential throughout military history for centuries, but it has also been highly regarded in business fields and martial arts, as the ideas presented are not necessarily restricted to the battlefield, having a deeper meaning that can be applied to personal struggles, the achievement of goals and eventually personal improvement. In this chapter, Attack by Stratagem, translated in 1910 by Lionel Giles, Sun Tzu covers the importance of patience for critical decisions, being a wise leader/general, obstacles to the goal, how to deal with overpowering circumstances, and the importance self-knowledge as well as understanding others in decision-making.
